PCE hopes to resume concerts in May 2021 with our Haydn festival. Smaller PCE performances may take place if conditions permit.

Franz Joseph Haydn used a new musical language to invent the symphony, the concerto, the string quartet, the piano trio, and the piano sonata.

Our Haydn festival – featuring today’s most thrilling Haydn pianist — begins with the premise that Haydn is the least understood of the major Classical composers, bristling with rhythmic euphoria and spur-of-the-moment invention.
