An all-day immersion experience; A rare chance to hear a complete performance of all four books of Isaac Albeniz’s Iberia (1906–09), the summit of the Spanish keyboard repertoire, as performed by one of Spain’s leading present-day pianists — hailed as “a major artist” by The Washington Post.

A multi-media exploration of the “Europeanization” of Spanish culture at the turn of the 20th century, with film by Carlos Saura, music by Joaquín Turina, poetry by Federico García Lorca, and visual art by Ignacio Zuloaga and Pablo Picasso. A late masterpiece by Manuel de Falla, the Concerto (1926), will be performed alongside poetry by John of the Cross, choral music by Tomás Luis de Victoria, and keyboard works by Falla and Soler.
